Watch As This Woman Does An Experiment With A Water Bottle Over The Hoover Damn… NOW IT’S BLOWING UP THE INTERNET!!!

There are few things which are absolutely certain in this world. Gravity is one of those certainties.

When we drop something, it will always fall. Never has this law of physics been broken…until now.

Leslie Hutchings was visiting the Hoover Dam on the Arizona-Nevada border when she discovered something miraculous. Standing on top of the wall taming the Colorado River, Leslie was amazed at how far down the dam went.

Moved by her curiosity, she decided to pour some water over the edge and watch it fall. Only – to her great surprise – it did not fall.

Actually, once she poured it out it started to flow upward in the opposite direction! Not only did it flow up, it appears like the water is being sprayed from a hose.

Leslie was just as surprised as everyone else when the water started raining up out of the bottle instead of dribbling down toward the river. Check out the video, it is absolutely mind-blowing!

However, the law of gravity was not broken and Sir Isaac Newton did not roll over in his grave. This unbelievable phenomenon is naturally occurring and easily explained.

“The structure of the dam creates an upward draft that makes water actually defy gravity,” Leslie explained. “Instead of traveling downwards, it is carried upwards by the wind.”

She understood the theory of how the wind will blow light objects against gravity, but said, “We didn’t know just how powerful it was until we experimented and poured water over the edge. You have to see it to believe it!”

The Hoover Dam is a breathtaking landmark on its own. Built during the Great Depression, at the time it was the largest dam in the world and was completed in 1935.

In addition to the countless jobs it created during the Depression, today the Dam’s turbines are able to generate enough electricity to power 1.3 million homes and the water reservoir of Lake Mead irrigates 2 million acres of farmland. Now, we can add defying gravity to the list of astonishing and fascinating things the Hoover Dam can do!
