Her patient has what looks like a black circle embedded into his skin. Dr. Pimple Popper — real name Sandra Lee, a board-certified dermatologist — explains what it is. While it may look like a giant blackhead or a cyst, it’s might be a dilated pore of winer.

A dilated pore of winer happens when dead skin gets trapped in a pore. The skin widens the opening and then plugs it up, and the skin that has been exposed to air turns black. But this wasn’t a dilated pore of winer. It was an epidermoid cyst, one of the most common types of cutaneous cysts. Inside the cyst are wet skin cells, which is what gives it the cheesy consistency you can see in the video:

Most of the time, these cysts are harmless. But they can rupture or become infected, which can lead to a lot of pain for the patient. This patient’s case seemed like it would never end, as more and more stuff just came pouring out of the cyst. But she had to make sure to be thorough, and remove it all, or the cyst would just come back again. And like with most of Dr. Pimple Popper’s videos, this was a huge hit for her fans.

It seemed to never end…Wow!

Heaven…I’m in Heaven…And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak…And I seem to find the happiness I seek…When a HUGE cyst/pore of whiner is removed by Dr. Lee!

I live for the times you use a curette!

Amazing!!! I can’t get over how much good stuff came out of that! I would love to have seen how big the entire sac was. I know that wasn’t possible. Great video!!!!

I’ve died and gone to heaven. This is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

According to the patient, he had the bump on his back for 10 years. So that was 10 years worth of crud building up in his back — no wonder it took a long time to come out! But he must have felt a lot of relief for it to all finally be gone.
