WTF?! Alabama Inmates SMUGGLE In Illegal Cell Phone To Record RIDICULOUS ‘Mannequin Challenge’ -LOOK!

VIA| It might not be set to the tune of Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” but a Mannequin Challenge video featuring several Alabama inmates might have just won the whole damn thing.

On Nov. 13, the Alabama inmates’ version of the challenge began making rounds on Facebook, according to AL.com. In under a minute, we see several men ganging up on one another, a few guys working out, a few groups and individuals reading and praying, and one choice middle finger to the air.

Sure, it might exude the vibe of a low-budget challenge production, and someone doesmove their hand in the vid, but you’ve got to hand it to them—they somehow managed to film the challenge on a phone that just possessing is considered a Class C felony.

According to AL.com, the video’s publishing comes after a string inmate riots earlier this year at the Holman Prison in Atmore. During the riots, inmates made a video-call to the media and claimed the protests were in response to prison overcrowding and inhumane living conditions.

Alabama Department of Corrections spokesman Bob Horton told AL.com they are investigating the video. The department has reportedly confiscated more than 3,000 illegal cellphones this year.

One thing is for sure—viewers are less than pleased with the video’s frustrating orientation. Giving these guys time, however, might be a little much.
