Russia Backs Down, Says It Will Not Try to Stop Further US Missile Strikes in Syria

President Trump has Russia cowering after missile attacks on Syria were carried out.

Russia responded initially with threatens to say they would support their allies- Syria and Iran.

Via IJR:

Russia — and Iran — warned they will “respond with force” if the U.S. crosses “red lines” in Syria again.

In response, Rex Tillerson had a few words that had them second-guessing their original stance.

In turn, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson — in Moscow to meet with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov — said Russia must choose between its alliance with Syria and Iran, and the U.S. and its allies.

Now it turns out that Russia has decided to back down from its original position and will not intervene if America orders another missile attack on Syria.

As the Daily Mail reported, Viktor Ozerov, head of Russia’s Defense and Security Committee, told Interfax — a privately held news agency in Russia — that his country will not intercept U.S. missiles if Trump orders another attack against the Syrian regime:

“Our armed forces are in Syria to fight terrorism — not to defend against external threats. That’s not our mandate, and we’re not going to intercept anything.”

It also turns out that Russia was aware of the Syrian chemical attack before it was executed.

Trump has foreign leaders finally understanding that the past eight years does not define America and we will no longer be pushovers.
