QUEER Anti-Trumper Has An EMOTIONAL Break Down That Will Have You Rolling On The Floor.

on

Source| Have you seen this ranty video of a chick from Oklahoma University? She thinks that because she’s “queer” (her words, not mine) that everyone hates her and she’s going to have her rights taken away and be treated like less of a human, all because Donald Trump was elected president –

Okay, LGBTQ people, if you could calm your shiz for five seconds, Imma explain to you a thing: Donald Trump has NEVER said one word about gays or lesbians or bisexuals during the campaign, let alone anything negative. The only thing he said about transgender people is that he would be okay with a transgender woman using the women’s restroom at Trump Tower. That is IT.

Do you know what Trump has said about gays in the past? That he doesn’t care if they’re gay. A person’s sexual orientation doesn’t mean anything to him. He just cares if they do a good job and are a decent human being.

That’s a view he’s expressed before. This came from an interview with Trump from back in 2000. Back then, he was talking about a theoretical run at the presidency – the kind that no one took seriously, until he actually won –

Why should gays and lesbians be interested in you as a presidential candidate?
I grew up in New York City, a town with different races, religions, and peoples. It breeds tolerance. In all truth, I don’t care whether or not a person is gay. I judge people based on their capability, honesty, and merit. Being in the entertainment business — that is, owning casinos and … several large beauty pageants — I’ve worked with many gay people. I have met some tough, talented, capable, terrific people. Their lifestyle is of no interest to me.

Would we see gay people in a Trump administration?
I would want the best and brightest. Sexual orientation would be meaningless. I’m looking for brains and experience. If the best person for the job happens to be gay, I would certainly appoint them. One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace, good people don’t go into government. I’d want to change that.

[…]

Are your gay employees allowed to be out?
Everyone makes a personal choice. Look, it just doesn’t matter to me. I try to treat everybody equal and fairly. Maybe that’s why I can count men like Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Sammy Sosa as my friends. When you hang with people who are different from you, you get an appreciation for other cultures.

The left nowadays would call that “cultural appropriation,” probably.

A little more recently, he held up a gay pride flag with “LGBTs for Trump” written on it at a political rally. The flag was handed to him by LGBT supporters in the crowd –

Oh, man – he actually looks HAPPY to have their support. The media told me that he and his supporters were all hatey-hate bigots! HOW CAN THIS BE?

I dunno – maybe he actually means it when he says what a person decides to do with their life doesn’t matter to him?

I don’t get where this idea that President Trump is going to imprison or punish gay people came from. Because he made Mike Pence his VP? Do you know what a VP gets to do? Practically NOTHING. Pence is there to advise Trump on the finer points of politics. He doesn’t get to introduce legislation or really push for any kind of policy change. He can suggest it, but the final decision lies with Trump.

As author John Ringo put it –

So why Mike Pence?
Trump has NO insider experience with DC and it’s a fucking snakepit and he knows it. Pence IS an insider, like Biden. He knows how to move stuff and it has been suggested that he may be used that way as a ‘Chief of Staff for getting legislation moved.’
[…]
So is Pence a danger to LGBTs? Probably not. He may try to push Trump on LGBT issues but Trump’s long-term management process has been to simply ignore a person’s sexual interests unless they’re a security threat. (Fine if you’re out of the closet or fine with being revealed, bad if you can be blackmailed. Same as the current US government stand on security clearances.)

[…]

The VP has exactly zero real power (absent one of you idiots assassinating Trump in which case you get what you deserve) and Pence is not going to be able to enact a regime of torture on LGBT. Among other things, he’d have to get Congress to pay for it and they’re not nuts. Pence isn’t going to be able to get Roe Vs Wade retracted nor whatever decision the SCOTUS passed in regards to gay marriage. And even IF that one is rescinded by a future SCOTUS it just tosses it back to the states and the equal justice clause should cover it.

So, there you go. LGBTs, you haven’t lost squat. You might actually have gained an ally in the White House, if you aren’t dumb enough to reject him.

In fact, Donald Trump’s attitude of “live and let live” is one I hope that EVERYONE takes note of – gay, straight, Christian, Muslim, Jew, athiest, black, white, brown, male, female, young, old, whatever. As long as you aren’t causing problems for someone else, you can do whatever you like. It’s actually a pretty conservative/liberatarian outlook. Unlike the progressive ideology of “Beat Your Opponent Over The Head and Force Them To Believe The Way You Do and Call Them Names When They Don’t” that we’ve had for the past eight years.

Sure beats living in fear all the time.

I really think we should all adopt one of these children and let them know that there is no fear. That we are sorry that they have been manipulated into thinking things that are unreal! Maybe then they will realize just how weird this sounds to everyone else. I think lawyers will have a spike in clients when these kids wake up to the reality. They need to sue all the media outlets,Hillary,Bernie ,or anyone that gave them this fear. With mis information that has cause extreme stress and emotional distress!
It was not the republicans, it wasn’t trump it was those who they trusted ,those who they totally Believed completely without verifying . Without actually talking with others that had different political views.

This is so sad and so real for them.
