‘Hamilton’ Cast Goes Crazy With Rousing Tribute To Prince

The cast of the Broadway hit “Hamilton” honored Prince at the end of Thursday night’s show with an exuberant dance set to the song, “Let’s Go Crazy.”

Prince died on Thursday at the age of 57.

The foot-stomping tribute was shared on YouTube and social media from multiple angles:

“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda had tweeted earlier in the day that he was “gutted“ by the news of the icon’s death, and later added:

” Step away from your computer. Walk around, blast some Prince.
It’s the only thing that has saved my day, it may save yours.”

The celebration may have looked spontaneous, but Miranda said “Hamilton” musical director Alex Lacamoire spent the day working on it.
