GIULIANI BOMBSHELL: Guess Who Clinton Called Pleading To Before The Debate Started…

Before the second presidential debate had even started, Republican nominee Donald Trump had once against managed to seize all headlines by bringing to the debate some of the many women who had accused former President Bill Clinton of sexual assault over the years.

Trump was attempting to combat the avalanche of negative press he had been getting after a tape surfaced of him making disparaging remarks about women.

When Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton found out that the women she had tried to silence were sitting in the front row of the debate, she tried to have them removed, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani claimed .

“It shook the heck out of her. Why do you think she was rattled at the beginning of the debate? I know it because they called the debate commission and said, ‘Please don’t put them in the first row,’” Giuliani told Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto just after the debate.

That’s not exactly the behavior of someone who is innocent.

Before the debate, Trump held an impromptu news conference with the women, who all reiterated their support for Trump in the face of the fallout from the Trump tapes.

During the debate itself, Trump only brought up Bill Clinton’s past infidelities once. Trump apologized for his own remarks and tried to move on, but when the moderators continued to press the issue Trump finally brought up Clinton’s past.

It is unclear whether Trump’s actions during the debate were enough to stop the decline in his poll numbers. There have been no post-debate polls released yet, so we don’t have a good idea of where Trump actually stands.

Trump’s debate performance does appear to have been enough to stop Republicans from fleeing his campaign in droves, however, which is a step in the right direction.
